in brentwood. some shoes are in such high demand that criminals are willing to rob you for them. that's what happened to albany student. >> like our best friend literally like best friend. everybody is sad. >>reporter: almost everyone at albany high knows the 15-year-old boys involved in the shooting. police say 2 of the 3 boy were his shot yesterday afternoon along the loan green wait a minute cross town bike path in neighboring el cerrito. sky 7 hd over the scene. it happened right behind fairmont elementary school. police say 2 teenager male suspects confronted the albany students. >> guy came up to him and started to rob him for his shoes. >>reporter: friend of the victim says the suspect wanted one of the boy nike shoes. when he wouldn't give them up they both pulled out guns and shot him twice in the torso. >> it's crazy. i can't believe it happened. because he's not the type of person you would expect to get into any trouble like this. >>reporter: bullet grace grazed another boy in the face. memo went out to albany high

parents caution oning about the clothes the kids maybe wearing. >> when the students are out and about, outside of school, to remember that we are in an urban environment. and sometimes that's a little hard to remember in albany. >>reporter: earlier this week in brentwood 4 other teenager boys between 13 and 16 were also shot over their shoes. brent wood police say on monday a carload of 3 to 4 male suspects confronted the boys gh school high school. they reportedly told them the nike shoes were gang banker shoe then few minutes later they opened fire on the teens. brentwood police say none of those boys are affiliated with a gang and they are all expected to recover. the albany boy who was shot in the torso has been upgraded tonight to stable condition and so far no one has been arrested in either one of the cases. reporting live in albany, abc 7 news. all right allen thank you. we have seen pockets of shower showersal day today with fair

bodies of 46-year-old karen anderson and her daughter amelia were found today about 30 feet from shore in water that was barely above freezing. on monday deputy responded to reports of loose llama and couldn't find anyone at the owner home. speculation that been trying to save thaten try l animal. neighbors group concerned when the family wasn't seen tuesday. that's when deputy using dogs began to search that ended with today's discovery. in san jose tonight man has been stabbed to daevtd. city third homicide of 2013. police got the call to south side drive in hope street around 8:tlit 30 tonight. man stabbed several times. police victim was attacked by several men. motive for the attack is unknown. hunt for the killers continues. new at 11:00 65-year-old morgan hill man has been arrested on multiple counts of child molestation. police served warrant today at the home of gel d gel delgado. hes not home but he did turn himself in later. police say

he sexually abused 4 victims living in morgan hill who were between the ages of 5 and 13 at the time. new at 11. sharks finally back on the ice tonight in san jose. that's great news for businesses in the area which were hard hit by the nhl lock out. john is live in san jose where they must be celebrating. johnorter: you can hear the happiness. last home game back in april. san jose lost 800,000 dollars in hotel and parking. restaurants lost 20, 30, 40 percent or more of the business. so tonight could not have come soon enough.
